Development Experience

DEVELOPER

I can define an application.

Short user experience stories can quickly illuminate business rules and help us visualize the experience.

I can define define the user experience.

Major user stories should have a sketch of the UI components contained within the view.

I can define the schema.

Mixing proprietary requirements with standardized schemas makes for a nice balanced model.

I can assemble an application.

I have had much success with Apache, PHP, an RDBMS, a dash of XML and jQuery. These technologies work well for tight deadlines, low cost teams and stable applications.

I can deploy an application.

I do have experience setting up Apache servers from a stock Linux image (any flavour). I am very familiar with services like EC2 and S3.

PERSON

I am super professional.

I am super business-like and have worked with each of the nine types of people.

I have street smarts.

I was shaped by the scars of being a warrior.

I like animals.

Well, animals like me but I can tolerate them just fine.

I like music.

Music is how I can adjust my velocity (to a degree).

I like challenging projects.

I eat tough projects for breakfast and later I eat more of them.
