On Friday my brother graduated! We are all very proud of him! He is officially a Fulton engineering school graduate. I forgot my camera, so this will have to do:

See how happy he was!

Some graduates (construction specific degrees) wore hats like this:

I used to think a dean looked like this:

But their dean looks like this:

Mr. Fulton said a funny speech - the ASU engineering school was named after him:

It was weird to see a sea of yellow hats

My brother enjoys learning. Now he will take on the rest of the world and learn a million new things - which is exciting. I can’t wait to see what happens next…

Four months of the year, our money is taken and put into a huge pool which we collectively use to buy things we couldn’t afford on our own. Things like firetrucks and parks and wars and such. Here in the desert, we decided to manufacture hundreds of oasis-like parks and scattered them across the city.

Keep in mind… if you come to a park that looks like this:

You should look for a sign…

These parks are scenery for homeowners. They are vacant life size models of better places around the world. The homeowners have a private army looking for anything not perfectly trimmed and beautiful.

That includes vagrants like myself who play amplified music while feeding the ducks.

Office 1

This is office #1.

I usually go in to this building for meetings.

Office 31

In my house there is an even darker office with a long screen and a little TV.

Office 231

But for fresh air and light I go to the offices scattered across this city.

This is where I met Carleton.

All around there is manufactured beauty and color but no people…

Office 19

This office is as yellow as these pictures look. Somehow the materials used in the concrete makes the world look old and desolate. This office is very hard to find… hidden away deep in a labyrinth of identical houses.

Nobody is -ever- there.

It would at least give them a reason to wear it all day

david this is your future self warning you to not mess with the future anymore. Because you altered the posts that I made from the present (your future) you have altered our reality as we know it. Most do not recognize the subtle changes, but I do because I remember altering the posts when I/you did.

Your changes to my post have created a ripple in time which is irreversible. Many of the changes that occurred from your meddling with the future are insignificant in history, but vast in our present (your future). These are the results of your actions:

- Google is bankrupt because of your advice not to pay attention to it. Many people took your advice and decided to use AltaVista instead. This resulted in the Google X prize to the moon being canceled and man’s first and only real chance at landing on the moon being deserted.

- Britney Spears realized that she needed to clean up her act, found Buddha and married Haley Joel Osment. They become Hollywood’s “it couple” had more children, who in turn become front runners for the first joint presidency in Americexicoanda history (thats right we all joined into one country).

-Global warming has turned into global boiling.

-Coca Cola is healthier then water

I must stress with all seriousness, DO NOT MESS WITH THE FUTURE. Allow time to unfold as it will.

ps- its the year 2023 so that whole 2012 thing isn’t going to pan out the way you think.

If you are just getting here, someone has hacked my blog and is claiming to be writing me from the future. This person claims to be me. I think I know who this is - but they really know their stuff so I can’t be sure.

I can not delete any of his posts so I apologize for the mess.

Unfortunately, this conversation plays backwards because I am unable to re-sort the posts. He just changes it back within 24 hours.

I apologize for any foul language used by my supposed future self. If I could edit it I would - and believe me I’ve tried.

To crazy annoying hacker: Can you please send me these messages a different way? I like my blog to be simple and organized but you are really making it a mess.

1

You were right. Mobile devices now convert spoken word into text throughout the day. DayBlogging or Digging they call it.

You think blogging is big? “Digging” let’s people share every moment of their day - an uncensored view of a real person’s entire life. All the information is captured and indexed by Google. And used by Google.

Please buy digging.com. It is a placeholder site at your time now but it will be worth millions very soon. Help me out man - buy some stock in this when it becomes available.

2

Three words: “eye freakin’ cameras” that’s right. The full on human vision experience captured by - who else - Imax. Oh and guess what’s next… The Narwahl vision experience.

At this point everyone stops believing that I am me and not him because this is just too perfect. But yes, it’s true. The life experience of one of the world’s few remaining mysteries is now going to be revealed!

That’s something to keep living for (which reminds me - get off your ass and start moving - and quit smoking or you will kill me you +-*+ prick)

3

Natural, organic, healthy - everywhere. Do not buy stock in Walmart - Do buy stock in Whole Foods. Please, I’m begging you. And STOP eating s#!t all day.

Things grow from the earth and we must eat them… They become part of us.

You are just combining yourself with burritos and energy drinks if I remember correctly.

4

The earth is not hollow and you should have figured that out by now. If not, please reread this entire paragraph.

5

DELETED

6

Many of the questions that have plagued us from the beginning of time have been answered.

To say a paradigm shift has occurred would be an understatement. And all of this has come to us from a single source: google.

Surprised?

But do not buy stock in google. For the next four years it is better if you avoid the company all together.

And for God’s sake DO NOT ENTER THE BETA PROGRAM. I can’t stress this enough. When the time comes I know you will make the right choice.

As far as Jamie is concerned, spare no expense, go to the ends of the earth, but do not let her join the program.

Where I failed, may you succeed.

Our world is much much smaller than yours. I wish I could explain that in greater detail but I cannot.

So, remember - Google’s actions when weighed against history are noble. Avoid them but do not fight.

7

Water is no longer a problem at all. The world is flooded with fresh water. Please invest in H20 concepts. At your time they are just a small filtration outlet - but very soon they will change the world through a research and development currently in progress (in your time). Keep up the good work guys (if you are reading this)

8

Entertainment went exactly where you thought it would go.

Each day at midnight (Hollywood time - nice eh? West Coast!) a batch of shows are released. They can be viewed in any order at any time. This way the people have access and choice and the studios have a controlled release schedule.

Oh, this you would never have thought of. Advertising is built into the television sets. Yes… That’s right. It analyzes the words and images on the screen and displays ads relative to the transcribed information. The ads are displayed in a panel seperate from the main screen. At first people put black tape or custom panels over it.. But now it is light and pressure sensitive…

So.. the battle over advertising exists even in this post-Tivo world.

And guess who will bring that into every household? It rhymes with oogle.

9

Stop using your cellular phone today. Only use wired lines.

I know you will not listen to me so I am begging you.

Give up your cel phone now - It truly is worse then smoking - and David, it is not just your health that is at risk. Watch all forms of communication.

Remember the new mobile speech to text processor I talked about earlier? All messages, spoken and written, are indexed by one government contractee. It rhymes with poogle.
